Location

Stratford-upon-Avon is located close to the centre of England, getting here couldn't be easier.

Travelling by Car

Stratford-upon-Avon has excellent links with the motorway network with easy access from the M40, M42, M1 and M69.

Approximate journey times if you're travelling by car from:

    Bristol - 1½ hours
    Birmingham - 30 minutes
    Cotswolds - 30 minutes
    London - 1½ hours
    Oxford - 1 hour

Travelling by Train

Stratford is connected to Britain's rail network. Chiltern Railways run direct trains from London Marylebone

Accommodation

The area is served by a large number of B&Bs, guest houses, hotels etc and there is a Youth Hostel at Alveston (about 1 mile from Stratford).  

There are two Travelodge hotels in the Stratford area (in the town on Birmingham Road, half a mile from the start) and at Alcester on the A46 (approx 5 miles)
